Shoes Shoes Shoes!

If you are learning to draw, Pinterest can be your best friend. Whenever I feel a lack of inspiration, I just scroll through the site and invariably find something that makes me want to draw. One such day I went through my Pinterest board of shoes I like and found so much inspiration that I began a drawing spree. First, little thumbnails and then full fledged paintings!

I received a box of poster colours as a gift, so I took out an old sketchbook that had black pages to give it a try. I got results better than I had expected, but the thin paper wrinkled under the paint – making me finally decide to switch to better quality paper for drawing. And now I would recommend that to everyone. Always draw on a decent quality thick paper, because you never know, you might end up making something nice!
