A little bit of Inktober – 2018
As much fun as Inktober is, the target of making one ink drawing daily can get very overwhelming. But this year again, I forgot about all that and decided to give it another shot. After all, nothing beats the sense of accomplishment (and relief!) of completing the challenge. While I only managed to hold up for eighteen days, I’m quite happy with the results.
This year, I decided to explore some water brush pen techniques to create shades of grey. I used the water to smudge out the fountain pen ink and really had fun observing how the ink watered down with the brush. I also went a little introspective, possibly because I didn’t have the time to brainstorm over ideas.
Here are some of my drawings, you can take a look at the rest of them at my Instagram page.
